The year 2025 will mark a decisive period in the growth and internationalisation of SISQUAL® WFM. In an increasingly demanding global context, where efficient workforce management is crucial to organisations’ competitiveness, SISQUAL® WFM consolidated its position as a worldwide benchmark in Workforce Management, strengthening its international presence, conquering new markets, and deepening strategic relationships with large global groups.
This was a year of sustained growth, continuous innovation, and international recognition, supported by the trust of customers, partners, and leading institutions across multiple sectors and geographies.
Goals achieved and new markets
One of the highlights of 2025 was the consolidation of the partnership with the MetroAG Group. This German multinational owns the Makro wholesale chain, which represents one of SISQUAL® WFM’s most significant global projects.
The implementation of SISQUAL® WFM at Metro AG Group is a solid step in the digital transformation of European retail. In a market widely recognised for its high productivity, automation and operational rigour, Metro Group found in SISQUAL® WFM the solution to ensure operational efficiency, rigorous labour control and full compliance with specific contractual rules and labour legislation across the main European markets.
Currently, Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Turkey and Hungary are among the countries where the Metro Group has already implemented SISQUAL® WFM. Each project is developed in the local language and fully parameterised in accordance with the labour legislation of each country, contributing decisively to the internationalisation and maturity of the solution.
With implementation planned for around 25 countries, this partnership represents one of SISQUAL® WFM’s largest and most ambitious international projects. Regarding the trust placed in them by the European Cash & Carry giant, the President of SISQUAL® WFM, Frederico Magalhães, highlights:
‘This milestone reinforces the credibility and capacity of the software to meet the needs of major players in the global market.’
At the same time, SISQUAL® WFM strengthened its presence in strategic markets such as Brazil, Spain, Poland and Portugal, and recorded significant growth in emerging markets, with particular emphasis on Mexico, where the solution now supports some of the country’s largest retail chains.
