What is WFM?

What is Workforce Management?

WFM is a tool that goes from activities’ forecast, where we indicate the client the forecast of personnel needed every shift or every 30 mins, automatic generation of scales and tasks, numerous tools to help during the operations period, holidays treatment, absences and extra hours with all their limits, automatic worked time calculation and their integration in Payrol.

An essential tool to control the dynamics of shifts of companies with many employees and dynamic schedules and ensure the level of service, making sure you have the right person, doing the task in the right place and at the right time, through the management of absences, breaks, vacations, leave and especially ensuring compliance with labor legislation. The implementation of a WFM solution is known in the international market as the tool that can deliver the highest ROI within the solutions for Human Capital, because of the possible gains in management time, turnover, absenteeism, present and overtime.

The expected return on investment (ROI) on a WFM implementation is between 5:1 to 10:1, i.e. for every $1 invested the client should expect gains between $5 to $10 monthly.

According to the world’s most important Research and Technology report, in whose radars SISQUAL is under since 2008, by 2025, 75% of large companies with hourly paid workers will have invested in a WFM solution to support employee experience and/or digital workplace initiatives. This development of automation capabilities and employee/customer experience will add significant value to WFM solutions as an investment.

WFM is no longer just as a registration and operating system, but also a system of differentiation and transformation.

Therefore, and in an increasingly competitive market, it is essential to be able to rely on a carefully trained and intelligently distributed work team in order to offer high quality to the market and achieve a competitive advantage. It is in this context that WFM has been gaining increasing importance in the strategic decisions of companies.

WFM encompasses various activities related to workforce, such as:
