SISQUAL® WFM continues to expand its international presence, this time in Mexico, through Tiendas Bara, one of the country’s leading discount store chains. The Mexican food retail company has purchased 3,800 software licences, investing in the digitalisation of time and team management processes to ensure greater efficiency and operational quality.
Founded in 1998 in León, Guanajuato, Tiendas Bara has become a benchmark in the food retail sector in Mexico, with stores in several Mexican states. The chain specialises in local commerce, and its motto is to supply families’ pantries with basic grocery products at affordable prices, also offering some basic services, such as mobile phone top-ups and banking services, including withdrawals and deposits.
The chain belongs to Fomento Económico Mexicano (FEMSA), one of the most important groups in Latin America, with over 130 years of history and a presence in 13 countries. FEMSA is also responsible for high-impact brands such as OXXO, considered the largest convenience store chain in Mexico.
Automation simplifies operational management
With a rapidly growing chain of stores and thousands of employees, Tiendas Bara faced the challenge of effectively managing its teams’ schedules, attendance and operations.
To meet these needs, the company will implement the following SISQUAL® WFM modules:
- SISQUAL® Quality of Life APP – promotes quality of life for managers and employees by providing mobile access to essential information.
- SISQUAL® Time & Attendance – automatic and integrated attendance and schedule management.
- SISQUAL® Operations Cockpit – real-time planning and control of operations.
- SISQUAL® SalaryCalc – accurate and fast payroll calculation.
The solution will also be integrated with SAP Success Factors and SAP Hana, ensuring greater efficiency and accuracy in management processes.
