SISQUAL® WFM showcases sustainable management at the Amaral Carvalho Hospital Technology and ESG Symposium

On 20 and 21 August, the Amaral Carvalho Hospital (HAC) in São Paulo, Brazil, will hold the 3rd edition of the Technology and ESG Symposium, an event that has established itself as a forum for dialogue and innovation in the healthcare sector. Every year, the institution — a national reference in cancer care — brings together experts, hospital managers, IT professionals, doctors, nurses and volunteers to discuss technological innovation and its social impact.

In addition to presentations and thematic panels, the symposium will also feature round tables, testimonials, a guided tour of the Amaral Carvalho Hospital and opportunities for networking and exchange of experiences among participants. The themes of this edition include: ESG practices, artificial intelligence, financial sustainability and the role of volunteering in the hospital context.

Technology at the service of sustainable health

Strategic workforce management is currently essential to address key challenges in the healthcare sector, such as labour shortages, professional overload and the need to contain costs without compromising the quality of care.

During the event, Camila Vilas Boas, Pre-sales Manager at SISQUAL® WFM, will participate in a panel discussion with a 15-minute presentation on the topic ‘Automatic Schedule Generation,’ where she will address how automating work schedules can generate greater efficiency and quality in hospital management.

SISQUAL® WFM‘s participation in the HAC symposium will serve to demonstrate how efficient workforce management is one of the pillars of hospital sustainability through:

  • Optimisation of work schedules: through the automation of schedules, it enables intelligent shift management, promoting a balance between service needs, workload and employee satisfaction.
  • Process automation: reduces operational bureaucracy, making management more agile and strategic.
  • Impact on the quality of care: with better distributed and less overworked teams, hospitals can provide more effective and patient-centred care.

SISQUAL® WFM reduces operating costs, avoids unnecessary overtime, improves employee well-being and ensures higher quality patient care. All of this contributes to a more balanced and responsible healthcare system,’ explains José Pedro Fernandes, SISQUAL® WFM’s Vice-president.

SISQUAL® WFM’s participation in the HAC symposium reinforces its commitment to digital transformation and the promotion of more efficient and humanised healthcare. With 33 years of experience in technology and innovation, SISQUAL® WFM currently operates in more than 750 healthcare facilities in Brazil, putting technology at the service of people and helping to improve the experience of healthcare professionals and the services provided to patients.
