Lisbon Regional Tourism Authority optimises attendance management with SISQUAL® WFM

The Lisbon Regional Tourism Authority (ERT-RL) has chosen SISQUAL® WFM to optimise staff attendance management and enhance operational efficiency.

Responsible for promoting tourism in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area and the Setúbal Peninsula, ERT-RL brings together local authorities and public and private entities to develop tourism in the region.

Through automated shift management, the organisation aims to improve absence monitoring, simplify attendance management, and increase staff autonomy by involving them in the process.

In this context, the organisation has adopted several modules of SISQUAL® WFM, providing greater control and real-time visibility of operations:

Additionally, SISQUAL® WFM integrates with the ERP – AIRC payroll system – strengthening compliance with labour legislation and optimising the transmission of payroll variables via web services already used by ERT-RL.

The Lisbon Regional Tourism Authority was established with the mission of promoting and developing the tourism potential of the Lisbon region, ensuring integrated destination management within the framework of public tourism policies. Its area of operation covers the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, comprising 18 municipalities, and it works in partnership with 18 private entities, including industry associations, tour operators, and organisations relevant to the development of regional tourism.

The adoption of SISQUAL® WFM by ERT-RL reinforces the role of technology in the modernisation of public services, enabling greater operational efficiency, control, and legal compliance, increased staff satisfaction, and, consequently, improved service quality.
