Dr Amaral Carvalho Foundation receives the Primme Management Award for sustainability with SISQUAL® WFM

SISQUAL® WFM attended the Primme Management Awards ceremony, organised by Grupo Mídia, which took place on 28 May at the Renaissance São Paulo Hotel in Brazil. The event brought together leading figures and prominent institutions from the Brazilian philanthropic healthcare sector to recognise initiatives transforming hospital management through policies focused on innovation, sustainability, and operational efficiency.

Among the evening’s award winners was the Dr Amaral Carvalho Foundation, winner in the Sustainability and ESG category, with a project to modernise time and attendance management developed with the support of the SISQUAL® WFM tool.

The recognition highlighted the results achieved by the institution through the digitisation of team management and time and attendance control processes, and the subsequent gains in operational efficiency, governance, sustainability, and information security.

WFM in the service of sustainability

Through SISQUAL® WFM, the institution moved from a process previously characterised by manual routines, intensive use of paper, and a high volume of administrative rework to an integrated, automated management of time and attendance records, extra hours management, holidays, admissions, and shifts, ensuring greater traceability, legal compliance, and operational efficiency.

The implementation of the tool has reduced the time required for the monthly timesheet closing process by around 50% and brought forward payroll processing by up to 4 days, enabling the elimination of the paper reports previously used.

In addition to the administrative benefits, the digitisation of processes has enabled the Foundation to strengthen its ESG practices, reducing paper consumption and the physical space required for document storage, whilst increasing the security and transparency of information.

“At SISQUAL® WFM, we believe that digital transformation is achieved through relationships built on trust and projects developed in partnership with our clients. This award reinforces not only the excellence of the work carried out by the Foundation, but also the importance of investing in solutions that support the sustainable development of Brazilian healthcare,” says Jocelmo Mews, Health Operations Director at SISQUAL® WFM, who attended the ceremony.

The Primme Management Award recognises success stories developed by hospitals and charitable institutions that operate in a complementary manner to the Public Health System (SUS), valuing initiatives that generate a tangible impact on the management, care and sustainability of organisations.

Currently, SISQUAL® WFM is present in over 750 healthcare institutions in Brazil, supporting hundreds of thousands of professionals in hospitals, clinics and emergency services across the country.
