SISQUAL® WFM will take part in the 6th edition of Global Talent Day (GTD) on 8 October 2024 at the Lisbon Technology Forum (Lispólis). This event, one of the most important for the Human Resources (HR) sector in Portugal, brings together the labour market’s leading experts and suppliers, offering a platform to discuss new trends, challenges and opportunities in talent management. With the central theme  ‘Innovation, Humanisation and Leadership in the Digital Age’, Global Talent Day puts key topics on the agenda for organisations looking to adapt to rapid changes in the workplace and maintain competitiveness in a constantly evolving market, including: attracting and retaining talent, the role of e-learning, employee well-being, and leadership development in the age of digital transformation.

Self-Service Schedules: Way Forward or Utopia?

SISQUAL® WFM, a sponsor and active participant in GTD, will be leading one of the main debates taking place during the event, on the subject of ‘Self-Service Schedules: Path or Utopia?’. The panel will be moderated by José Pedro Fernandes and will include two experts to discuss the theme, lawyer José Pedro Anacoreta and podcaster Tomás Magalhães. José Pedro Anacoreta, one of the leading experts in labour law and a partner in one of Portugal’s most prestigious law firms, will give his legal view on the challenges and opportunities that the implementation of self-service time and attendance systems can bring to companies. Tomás Magalhães, founder of Despolariza, currently considered Portugal’s most listened to podcast, will address the cultural implications affecting the future of work. Together, they will bring a balanced discussion between innovation and the practical needs of the labour market, helping organisations to find sustainable solutions for time management in the digital age.
