SISQUAL® WFM brings global vision to Euroshop 2026

Euroshop

SISQUAL® WFM is preparing to make its debut at EuroShop 2026, one of the world’s largest and most influential retail trade fairs, taking place from 22 to 26 February 2026 at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre in Germany. This international event brings together industry leaders, innovators and decision-makers to explore the future of retail, emerging technologies and the operational challenges shaping the industry.

Known as the Global Retail Festival, EuroShop is more than just a trade fair. Over five days, Düsseldorf becomes an epicentre of innovation with:

  • More than 1,800 exhibitors from over 50 countries
  • Seven themed stages with specialised content
  • Eight special exhibition and demonstration areas
  • Four innovative guided tours
  • Continuous conferences, presentations and events

WFM with a focus on resource optimisation

Global retail is facing a time of intense transformation. Pressure to control operating costs, a shortage of skilled labour and increasingly high consumer expectations require organisations to adopt advanced technological solutions to remain competitive. In this scenario, the digitisation of critical processes such as scheduling, shift management, and legal compliance has become a strategic necessity.

That’s when WFM solutions play a decisive role, integrating forecast data, labour rules, skills and actual staffing needs, enabling companies in the sector to optimise their human resources, reduce costs and improve the employee and customer experience.

Interactive experience attracts visitors

At EuroShop, the technological highlight of the event will be on display in the EuroCIS (Retail Technology) area, where most of the retail technology solutions are concentrated. This area, identified in blue, covers topics such as mobile solutions, modern payment systems, AI-based data analysis, automation, and workforce management.

It is at the heart of EuroCIS that SISQUAL® WFM will be present at Stand B31, bringing to the professional audience new features such as the “WFM Game” – an interactive experience that challenges visitors to assemble a life-size “puzzle” representing the various stages of workforce management. The game, which was a success at NRF 2026 in New York, aims to demonstrate, in a fun and practical way, the complexity and importance of efficient schedule and shift planning. New features of the tool will also be highlighted, such as SISQUAL® Messenger, a communication and document-sharing module fully integrated with SISQUAL® WFM that brings employees and managers together in a simple, secure, and efficient way, without the need for external tools, keeping all communication centralised on the platform.

Participating in an event with the prestige and international reach of EuroShop allows us to present our solutions to a highly qualified audience and reinforce our commitment to supporting retail in its digital transformation. We believe that intelligent workforce management is one of the pillars for success in the retail of the future,’ explains José Pedro Fernandes, Vice President of SISQUAL® WFM.

The addition of the Metro Group, one of the world’s largest wholesale operators and owner of the Cash&Carry network, Makro, to the SISQUAL® WFM customer portfolio was one of the main highlights in the sector’s digitalisation over the last year. With implementation planned for around 25 countries and projects already completed in Spain, Portugal, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Turkey and Hungary, this partnership is a solid step in the digital transformation of European retail, contributing decisively to the internationalisation and maturity of the solution.
