SISQUAL®WFM has entered into a partnership with APAS (São Paulo Supermarket Association), a strategy that aligns with the intention to expand WFM’s visibility in the Brazilian territory.
About APAS
The Association is headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil, and has 13 other regional offices, representing over 1500 companies and 4500 commercial establishments throughout the state. With a focus on food safety and the professionalization of the sector, APAS anticipates trends and promotes harmonious growth of productive chains, aiming for a stronger and more sustainable retail industry, ensuring safe and continuous supply for the population.
It plays a fundamental role in the food retail market of the State of São Paulo, which is a dominant force in the Brazilian national scene. The state is considered the largest consumer market in the country and exerts significant influence on trends and strategies in the sector across Brazil. Its vast population, combined with developed infrastructure, makes São Paulo a vital hub for the distribution and commercialization of food, shaping the country’s economic landscape.
About the partnership
SISQUAL®WFM will participate in the main gatherings promoted by the Association, known as APAS EXPERIENCE. APAS Experience it’s a regional gathering in the format of a trade fair and congress. The event aims to promote the entire food retail chain of the region and generate business with supermarket owners, directors, and managers of the food trade, both APAS members and non-members. Press, authorities, and local authorities will also be present.
SISQUAL®WFM´s participation
The first of these events will be the APAS Experience Regional São José do Rio Preto, which will kick off the Association’s 2024 calendar.
The São José do Rio Preto edition will take place on April 18th.
For SISQUAL®WFM it will be an opportunity to showcase the latest developments in the WFM sector, as well as to share knowledge of the food retail industry, regarding various labour optimization solutions.
