In May, we took an important step within our expansion strategy for the Brazilian market by conquering a new client, Unimed Fortaleza. This medical cooperative, located in the state of Ceará, is the first of the Unimed group to integrate the customer portfolio of SISQUAL.
The Unimed institution is structured by more than 350 independent units scattered throughout Brazil. Altogether, the cooperative has more than 114,000 physicians and 18 million beneficiaries, is considered the largest health care institution in Brazil.
For our commercial director in Brazil, Fernando Zucki, entering this cooperative represents a great achievement and it opens doors to the other Unimeds that aim to work on productivity and cost reduction. “With the growing competition among the major health groups, the Unimed cooperatives’ group have been seeking for modernize the old processes through the management of their workforce as a priority for this year.”
Considered one of the most successful Unimeds in Brazil, the cooperative of Fortaleza is one of the ten largest companies in Ceará and considered by the Great Place to work (GPTW) one of the best companies to work. “In the coming months we will start the implementation of our WFM tools in the cooperative units. For us, SISQUAL, it is with great pleasure that we can work with our first Unimed and a great responsibility” concludes Zucki.
