SISQUAL participates in the main event of the Private Hospital sector in Brazil

CONAHP 2019 will bring a schedule that will unite knowledge, innovation, and relationship. The theme “Health Based on Value Delivery: the role of the hospital as an integrator of the system” will be discussed from the perspectives of patient experience, care models and information and technology.

Held by Anahp, the National Association of Private Hospitals, the congress, is the main event of the hospital sector in Brazil. The axes that will be addressed in the congress were built based on the Triple Aim concept (triple objective), has the premise to improve patient experience and clinical outcomes reducing per capita cost, advocated by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), an independent non-profit organization based in Massachusetts.

International and renowned health communicators have already confirmed their presence at the 2019 congress, such as Alethse de la Torre Rosas, Director of Standardisation and Latin America of ICHOM; Anthony Warmuth, Executive Director of Enterprise Quality and Safety Cleveland Clinic; Ernst Kuipers, CEO of Erasmus University Medical Center; John Mattison, Chief Medical Information Officer & Assistant Medical Director of Kaiser Permanente; Martin Ingvar, Deputy Deputy Chancellor and professor at Karolinska institute; Peter Pronovost, author of the book “Safe patients, Smart Hospitals” and Shawn Achor, researcher of “knowledge of happiness” and author of the book “The Harvard Way of Being Happy.”

Mohamed Parrini, chairman of CONAHP’s Scientific Committee 2019, said value-based health is a responsibility of companies, doctors and health institutions. Parrini also elucidates that the patient has a new profile related to his or her condition of value. “Patient 4.0 expects much more than humanized care, he wants to participate in care, to be the protagonist of care. In this way, we want to generate more value and quality for it, but with sustainability for companies. Don’t offer any less or more, but the right one. And this is only possible through rational use and a balanced performance for both parties. It is to manage value, focus on the patient more broadly and systemically”, he explains.

CONAHp will take place between November 26 and 28, 2019 at Expo Transamérica, in São Paulo. More than 80 communicators will be present, and with content that will provide a lot of networking among major experts.
