In a dynamic and constantly evolving scenario such as healthcare, people management is no longer an administrative task, but has become strategic, human and often decisive. With that being said, SISQUAL\u00ae WFM<\/a> has launched an unprecedented educational initiative in the Brazilian market: bringing the concept of WFM directly to the classrooms of nursing technicians in training. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 11 and 12 August, two units of Col\u00e9gio 24 de Maio<\/a>, located in the city of S\u00e3o Paulo, will host the lecture \u2018WFM in Practice: Shift Management in Nursing\u2019, conducted by the team of experts from SISQUAL\u00ae WFM: Karla Spadafora, Health Product Manager for the Brazilian market, and Camila Vilas Boas, Project and Customer Support Consultant. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this meeting, SISQUAL\u00ae WFM<\/a> aims to expand access to knowledge about WFM among healthcare professionals, raising awareness of the topic from the beginning of their training. \u2018Our goal is to contribute to the training of more conscious professionals, with a humanised mindset focused on the safety of patient care,\u2019<\/em> explains Karla Spadafora. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Effective shift management is crucial in healthcare<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As classes are about to complete their academic training, the college has around 80 students per unit, who will have the opportunity to understand how efficient shift management<\/a> will directly impact their professional future and, consequently, the quality of care. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Camila Vilas Boas explains: \u2018We know that many professionals are still unfamiliar with the concept of WFM<\/a>. Therefore, as leaders in the sector, we feel responsible for introducing a tool that can significantly improve the routine<\/a> of professionals and increase the efficiency of institutions.\u2019 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The topic of the lecture \u2014 \u2018WFM in Practice: Shift Management in Nursing\u2019 \u2014 was not chosen by chance. It is one of the primary responsibilities of these professionals, and understanding its complexity is essential for the success of healthcare teams<\/a> in a hospital environment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Brazil, people management accounts for up to 60% of a nurse’s routine, which is why \u2018developing strategic thinking and planning skills in those who are just starting ensures that the healthcare system will function better in the future,\u2019 explains the Healthcare Product Manager. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than just a one-off lecture, SISQUAL\u00ae WFM<\/a> is committed to this initiative as part of an ongoing movement to transform the sector, highlighting the role of technology as a key ally for healthcare professionals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
