SISQUAL WFM<\/a> attended the 2024 edition of Trof\u00e9u Gente Nossa Supermercadista, an annual event organised by the Minas Gerais Association of Supermarkets (AMIS<\/a>). Held on 21 November at the Minas Tenis Clube II in Belo Horizonte, the event brought together the main suppliers and partners in the retail sector in Minas Gerais and honoured the companies and professionals who stood out the most throughout the year.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Minas Gerais alone, food retail accounts for around 7.8 per cent of the state’s GDP, demonstrating the strength of this segment in the local and national economy. In a country where supermarkets employ millions of people, National Supermarket Day has thus emerged as an opportunity to value this contribution and strengthen relations between supermarkets and consumers.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n
